PlanData's SpaceMan application and web-based software are tools that allow real estate organizations to turn their floor plans into business graphics and produce in-house marketing graphics and lease exhibits. You already track data in your accounting systems but SpaceMan provides another window into that data by displaying it in the best representation of your real estate product: a floor plan or stacking diagram.
With SpaceMan tools, the user can colorize their floor plans based on any statistic that helps you establish strategies to maximize your assets. SpaceMan software also offers tools to calculate rentable areas for buildings and spaces. Users can color code their floor plans based on property management accounting data, leasing prospects or any other data germaine to the property.
Although you can colorize your floor plans on any data, common examples are colorizing on lease expiration, rent/sf (minimum and total), leasing status and option data. Retail properties can be colorized based on merchandising, sales/sf, sales to breakpoint, breakpoint/sf, occupancy cost, and any other performance indicator is important to you. You can also produce 2D and 3D stacking diagrams of your property.
There are many other tools provided using SpaceMan tools such as the ability to calculate and re-factor rentable areas of building and spaces, attaching documents to spaces (i.e. scanned leases in .pdf, letters of intent in Word or construction budgets in Excel), demise space and get instantaneous rentable area calculation along with lease exhibits that can be emailed at the press of a button.
SpaceMan/NxG is web software that allows you to deliver these sophisticated graphics and related data over the Internet or Intranet in a secure environment that you set up. This setup allows you to determine who can see what properties and what information they can see for that property. With SpaceMan/NxG, you can not only deliver these sophisticated graphics over the web but you can print them out wherever you are.
